Located in Parque do Baluarte near the centre of Peniche, this historic skatepark is one of the older dedicated skate facilities in Portugal. The compact layout combines street and transition features, including quarterpipes, a funbox, banks, ledges, rails, a mini ramp and a spine, providing a variety of lines despite its relatively small footprint.
The skatepark has been part of Peniche's skate scene for decades and was already well established by the early 2000s. It was documented in 2011 and was described by the Municipality of Peniche as an existing skatepark requiring rehabilitation by 2015. Several requalification projects have subsequently been proposed for the facility and surrounding Parque do Baluarte.
The exact original construction year and builder have not been reliably identified.

O park está em péssimo estado é muito dificil andar lá é uma pena porque dava para fazer uma coisa mais gira no espaço. Até para quem sabe andar é muito difícil.
Great location, terrible park. Rough ground, mostly really bad construction with bad angles and lots of cracks. 2 quarters, spine and flat bar useable if you're desperate...
The park in Peniche unfortunately is one of the worst park of the region. It seems that someone drop randomly some “obstacles “ in order to say “we have a skatepark” but Peniche as the Wave capital diserve way more than this.
