Built by SKATELOPEZ by Gaspar in 2005, Lourinhã Skatepark is a substantial concrete skatepark in the centre of Lourinhã, located close to the municipality's main sports facilities. SKATELOPEZ confirms the park and lists 2005 as its construction year on its official project page.
The park has a varied layout, with two smaller bowls flowing into a larger open bowl and street section, featuring banks, ledges, stairs, rails, a manual pad, funbox, spine, miniramp and other obstacles. For a town of around 9,000 people, it is a surprisingly extensive local park and has long been a popular spot for skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters.
The park's 2005 construction date is particularly notable, making Lourinhã one of the older purpose-built concrete skateparks in Portugal that is still documented and in use today.
After skating, Praia da Areia Branca is nearby for surfing and swimming, while the Lourinhã Dinosaur Museumoffers a chance to explore the region's famous Jurassic fossil heritage.

Let's be honest...it's time the city hall in Lourinhã improves the park a bit. Many skaters, nice location, and a rundown park. The skaters in Lourinhã deserve better.
Nice little skatepark park in the center of Lourinha with several options to eat and drink nearby. Good place to bring the kids.

Been here several times and it's one of the best parks in the area of Peniche. Cool place to meet some local skaters and nice vibe.
