Peniche is a Portuguese municipality and city, located next to the Atlantic Ocean, in the district of Leiria. It has a population of 26419. The skatepark in Peniche is located in Parque do Baluarte park. This park can definitely be considered one of the worst skateparks in the country. The skatepark features an unskatable miniramp and several basic skateboarding obstacles. How can the capital of surf of Portugal have such a bad park? Only the skate gods know.

A really bad designed skatepark in a very, very damaged condition, which can cause bad accidents. Hope the mayor can properly run a project to rectify it rather than abandon it, and finally give a proper place for locals and visitors to skate and come together.
This skatepark is almost 30 years old and the only ones that tried to fix it are the local skaters. The concrete is super rough and dangerous if you're trying to learn, the ramps are old and are full of cracks. Not a good skatepark
Shame for Peniche by having not only 100.000 surfing tourists coming each year but although for the local youth community for their demand since years for a decent skatepark.
For around 10 years the skatepark had no changes at all.. we need a new skate spot in a surf country
