Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

One of Europe's most respected skatepark builders has joined our builders network — and we couldn't be more stoked. Here's why Nine Yards matters, and why that matters for the map. We're always honest about what keeps this map free and global: the builders who believe in it. That's why every new addition to our builders network is worth celebrating — and Nine Yards Skatepark Co. is one we've genuinely been hoping for.

Based in Breda, Netherlands, Nine Yards was founded in 2008 under the name Plywood Constructions, starting out by organizing skateboard events and building indoor wooden skateparks. Over 15 years later, they've grown into one of Europe's most recognized architectural skatepark contractors — designing and constructing indoor and outdoor parks, custom builds, and full urban sports environments. They are a 100% skater-owned company, and every project is tailor-made in close collaboration with local communities, municipalities, and federations. They're also a partner of the Skateboard Federation Netherlands (SFN), involved in the design and realization of national championships.

What sets Nine Yards apart isn't just build quality — it's the philosophy. Their mission is to design the most innovative skateparks and skate objects, making every park unique through thoughtful design, innovative material choices, and seamless integration into the surroundings.
Their recent work speaks for itself. In May 2025, they completed the skatepark at Museumplein in Amsterdam — situated between the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum — with rails inspired by Rijksmuseum windows and brickwork referencing the Amsterdam School, commissioned by the City of Amsterdam. In July 2025, they delivered the Brasapark skatepark, built on the roof of the A9 tunnel: over 125 meters long, 1,600 m², free and open to the public. They've also worked with Nike, Red Bull, and Vans, and built the competition course for the Street League Skateboarding Championship Tour at Roland Garros in Paris.

By joining our builders network, Nine Yards helps us do what we've always set out to do: map every skatepark in the world, keep it free, and make sure the spots that deserve to be found actually get found. Their parks are already out there. Now they'll be properly on the map.
Welcome to the network, Nine Yards. Let's build something.
