New Skatepark Alert: Quinta do Anjo Gets a Wasteland Upgrade

The latest addition to Portugal’s growing list of concrete gems has officially landed in Quinta do Anjo (Palmela). Built by the expert hands of Wasteland Skateparks, this new facility transforms the local sports zone into a legitimate destination for the Portuguese skate community.

We headed down to the "Land of Cheese" to see if the concrete was as smooth as the local Queijo de Azeitão. Joining the mission were team riders Keanu Schwedt and Margarida Cepeda, along with myself, Haroun Cherif.

For a small town, this park punches well above its weight. Wasteland has a reputation for flow, and Quinta do Anjo is no exception. Whether you're carving the bowl or hitting the street lines, the transitions are surgical, and the layout makes the most of every square meter.

"It’s an all-round solid park. For a town of this size to have a high-quality concrete spot like this is a massive win for the local kids and the traveling skate community alike." — Haroun Cherif, Trucks and Fins
