Located on Rua Manuel Justino Ferreira 5, near the local sports pavilions and secondary school, the Montemor-o-Novo Skatepark is a facility that shows the heavy wear of time. This is not a modern, polished plaza; rather, it is a collection of older concrete and metal structures that have seen better days, offering a rugged and somewhat unpredictable session for those passing through the Alentejo. The park’s design is a bit of an architectural curiosity, featuring structures that don't quite align with modern skatepark standards. Adjacent to the ramp is a concrete structure that looks like a poorly executed bowl. The geometry is unconventional, with odd angles and transitions that make it difficult to find a traditional "line." It feels more like a creative DIY project gone wrong than a professionally engineered bowl.
Car: Montemor-o-Novo is a major junction between the A6 highway and the N2. The park is located in the municipal sports zone, and parking is generally easy to find right next to the entrance.
Bus: The town is well-connected by regional buses; the skatepark is about a 10-minute walk from the main terminal.
