Located in the commercial area of Vendas Novas, close to supermarkets and schools, the Vendas Novas Skatepark is a compact 450 m² modular facility designed with a mixture of street and transition obstacles. The layout includes a pyramid, manual pad, funbox, two quarterpipes and an incline with wallride, creating several straightforward lines within a relatively small footprint.
The skatepark was designed and built A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) and provides a dedicated space for skateboarding and other urban sports in Vendas Novas. Its compact layout makes efficient use of the available area while offering a useful combination of technical street obstacles and transition features.
The skatepark was inaugurated by the municipality by 2020 and has become a local meeting place for the town's younger community.
