Located on Rua da Palma in the small village of São Martinho, in the municipality of Alcácer do Sal, this compact wooden miniramp provides a dedicated space for local skateboarders in an otherwise very small rural community.
The miniramp was constructed in 2016, following a €4,600 municipal contribution to the Junta de Freguesia de São Martinho to complete an intervention in the local public park that specifically included the construction of a skate ramp.
Today, the miniramp remains a quiet and relatively isolated skate facility on the western side of the village. With São Martinho having only 349 inhabitants according to the 2021 census, it is an unusual example of a dedicated skate facility being provided in such a small Portuguese community.
