This small street spot in Horta das Figueiras is all that remains associated with Évora’s former skatepark. The original skatepark was built in 2009, but after deteriorating over the following years it was removed around 2016–2017.
Today, the location is documented as the site of the former Évora skatepark, with the surrounding area converted into a small public garden. Local skaters have continued to use street spots around the city, while repeated calls for a proper modern skatepark highlight the lack of a dedicated facility in Évora.
