The Lamego Pumptrack, located at Praça Dr. Fernando Amaral, is a central feature of the city's modern Parque Urbano de Lamego. This facility was developed as part of a significant municipal urban regeneration project designed to transform former wasteland along the banks of the Coura stream into a premier recreational hub. Unlike many earlier tracks that used asphalt, the Lamego track is constructed from polished concrete, offering a high-durability surface that provides a faster and more consistent ride for skateboarders, BMX riders, and inline skaters.
Bus: The track is highly accessible via the Verdinho (Lamego Urban Transport) network. The central location means major stops are within a short walking distance, connecting the park to the city's residential districts and the central bus terminal.
Car: Located in the city center, the facility is easily reached via the N2 or the A24 motorway. To accommodate visitors, the urban park project includes two dedicated parking lots with a total of 109 spaces located immediately adjacent to the recreational areas.
Walking: Its position at Praça Dr. Fernando Amaral places it within a 10-minute walk of the Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios and the main commercial avenues of Lamego.
Amenities: The park is equipped with public restrooms, a support bar, and professional lighting, which extends the usability of the pumptrack into the evening hours.
