Built as part of the Parque Urbano de Lamego project, Lamego Pumptrack is a distinctive concrete pumptrack located beside Praça Dr. Fernando Amaral, along the Ribeira do Coura. Unlike the more common asphalt tracks found across Portugal, this facility uses a smooth concrete surface, creating a fast and consistent riding experience for BMX, skateboards, scooters and inline skates.
The pumptrack formed part of the major redevelopment of previously neglected land along the river, transforming the area into a large urban recreational park with walking paths, sports facilities, playgrounds, gardens and other amenities. The first phase of the park opened to the public in September 2023, while the overall Parque Urbano project was recorded as completed at the end of 2023.
