Located at Parque do Ribeirinho (on the left bank of the Tâmega River), the Amarante Skatepark is a facility that serves as a major urban sports hub for the northern interior. While it is technically within the broader Parque Florestal area, it is specifically situated in the riverfront zone. Amarante skatepark is a small park with several basic obstacles in a back and forth setup. The skatepark was built by A-park and was inaugurated in 2021. The park is part of a 5-hectare green zone filled with diverse flora (sequoias, maples). It is one of the most shaded and "fresh" parks in the north, ideal for summer sessions.
Car: Access is straightforward via the A4 (Porto-Amarante). There is ample parking available within the Parque Florestal and along the riverbank.
Bus: The town is a major regional bus hub, and the park is a scenic 10-minute walk/skate from the main Amarante terminal.
