Built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2025, A dos Cunhados Skatepark is a compact 300 m² modular skatepark located within Jardim da Póvoa in Póvoa de Penafirme. The park combines a quarter pipe, bank, central grindbox, manual pad, flat bar and curbs, creating a straightforward layout with both transition and street features.
The skatepark forms part of the wider Jardim da Póvoa project, a new public recreational space that also includes a playground, outdoor fitness area, picnic areas and landscaped spaces. The park was officially inaugurated on 5 June 2025, adding a dedicated action-sports facility to the A dos Cunhados area.
