If the modular ramps in Silveira aren't hitting the spot, you only need to head a short walk down to Praia de Santa Helena. This is the organic street alternative to the official Santa Cruz skatepark, and honestly, it’s where the real soul of the local scene lives.
The spot is defined by a long, scenic pedestrian promenade that runs right along the Atlantic. It’s a mix of natural street obstacles—ledges, manual pads, and smooth flatground—all served up with arguably the best backdrop in the entire Oeste region. While the official park is built for transitions and air, Santa Helena is the go-to for anyone who prefers a raw street session.
Our crew went down to check it out, and it’s officially on the Trucks and Fins bucket list. If you time it right with the tide and the sunset, the lighting is insane—it's the perfect location to film some killer clips or just take in the view. Located right at Centro Praia de Santa Cruz (R. da Azenha), it’s highly recommended and fully crew-approved. If you’re in the area, you can’t skip this one.
