Built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2024, Santa Cruz Skatepark is a compact 300 m² modular skatepark located inside the Parque de Jogos Municipal de Santa Cruz in Silveira, Torres Vedras. The park was officially inaugurated on 15 August 2024, following an investment of approximately €75,000 by the municipality.
The layout is focused on transition and aerial skating, featuring quarter pipes, a wave, extension, transfers, jump box, spine and speedbump. The combination creates a fast, flowing setup with plenty of opportunities for airs and transfers, making it particularly interesting for BMX, scooters, inline skating and experienced skateboarders. A | Park describes it as one of the better miniramp/skatepark setups in Portugal.
The skatepark replaced the original Santa Cruz skate facility and was developed through cooperation between the Municipality of Torres Vedras and the União das Freguesias de Silveira. Its location within the municipal sports park means riders also have access to other sports and recreational facilities nearby.
