Located inside Parque Multiusos da Sobreda in the Quinta do Bom Retiro area, this compact concrete skatepark forms part of a large 7-hectare municipal leisure park. The simple layout includes a funbox, manual pad, London gap, flat rail and ledge, providing a straightforward selection of obstacles for local street skating.
The skatepark was built in 2009 as part of the development of Parque Multiusos da Sobreda, which was inaugurated by the Municipality of Almada in March 2009. The wider project transformed the former site into a major public leisure area containing cycling paths, children's facilities, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic areas and a dedicated skateboarding zone.
The skatepark is a relatively basic facility, but its inclusion in the original 2009 Parque Multiusos project makes it part of the early generation of municipal skateparks developed around Almada.
