Located in the Parque Radical on Praceta Fernão de Magalhães, the Ponte de Lima Skatepark is a historic concrete facility that has been part of the town's action-sports scene since the beginning of the 2010s. The approximately 960 m² park combines street and transition elements around a compact concrete layout, with the original facility centred around a distinctive concrete halfpipe.
The Parque Radical was developed by the Municipality of Ponte de Lima as part of a wider €480,000 public-space and sports project that transformed an underused urban area into a multifunctional leisure facility. Municipal records show that construction was underway in 2010, while the completed park was described as recently created in the municipality's June 2011 bulletin.
