Located inside Parque da Vila, the Ponte de Lima Pumptrack is a 2,000 m² concrete track designed around a continuous series of rollers, berms, dips and raised turns. Its flowing layout allows riders to maintain speed by pumping through the features rather than pedalling, with the track suitable for BMX, mountain bikes, skateboards, inline skates and scooters.
The pumptrack was designed by ProRide Portugal, which also prepared the ground, with construction beginning at the end of 2015 and the concrete lining completed by Wasteland Skateparks in collaboration with IOSkateparks and ProRide. The project was completed in 2016 and became Portugal's first concrete pumptrack.
The track was developed as part of the expansion of Ponte de Lima's cycling and action-sports infrastructure and is located in the Parque Urbano de Ponte de Lima, close to the municipality's other recreational facilities. Its compact, irregular design uses closely connected rollers and berms to create a fast and technical circuit that can be enjoyed by both beginners and experienced riders.
