Built by Wasteland Skateparks in 2024, Vagos Skatepark is a compact 250 m² concrete flow park located within a residential area of Vagos, Aveiro. The project was developed as a private investment intended to provide a public facility for the local community.
The park takes inspiration from Evergreen Skateparks' Hillsboro project, using a flow-oriented layout rather than a conventional street plaza. Smooth transitions, a quarter pipe, bank and speed bump allow riders to maintain momentum and connect continuous lines around the compact space.
The design is particularly well suited to beginners, Carver and surf-skate riders, with flowing transitions that encourage riders to focus on pumping, carving and maintaining speed. Despite its modest footprint, the layout offers a surprisingly varied session and gives the surrounding residential area a dedicated space for wheeled sports.
