Built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2021, Infantado Skatepark is a compact 400 m² modular park located beside the school area within the Parque Urbano do Infantado in Loures. The park was developed as part of the wider creation of the new urban park, which also introduced a playground, maintenance circuit, dog park, padel courts, amphitheatre and other recreational facilities.
The layout is designed primarily for beginner and intermediate skateboarders, with a small quarter pipe, incline, grind funbox, pyramid and flatbar. The relatively compact arrangement provides straightforward lines and a good progression-oriented selection of obstacles without overwhelming less experienced riders.
The skatepark forms part of a 2.8-hectare urban leisure park developed by the Municipality of Loures, transforming previously underused urban space into a large recreational area serving the Quinta do Infantado neighbourhood.
