Located inside Parque Adão Barata, also known as Parque da Cidade de Loures, the Loures Skatepark is a compact 500 m² street-oriented facility surrounded by green space, walking paths, restaurants and other recreational amenities. The layout makes good use of a relatively small area, with numerous low obstacles creating a variety of technical lines.
The skatepark features a manual pad, flatbars, ground curbs and other small street obstacles, making it particularly suitable for progression and technical skating. The facility is located next to the Pavilhão de Macau and benefits from free parking nearby.
A skate facility has existed in Parque da Cidade since at least 2004, when the Municipality of Loures documented a skate and inline-skating track equipped with a half-pipe. The current skatepark was designed and built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2017.
