Located beside the Polidesportivo de Bairro in Apelação, this small local skatepark is one of the older skate facilities in the Loures area. The park was already documented at its current location by 2010, making it at least 16 years old, although its exact construction date has not yet been established.
The facility provides a basic collection of modular street and transition obstacles within the neighbourhood sports complex. Over the years, however, the skatepark has suffered from severe deterioration and poor maintenance, and its current condition is far from suitable for safe skateboarding. The worn surfaces and ageing obstacles make this a particularly clear example of the maintenance problems affecting some of Portugal's older neighbourhood skateparks.
The park has also been associated with community sports initiatives in Apelação and the Quinta da Fonte area, where skateboarding has been used as part of youth and community programmes.
