Located at Rua Doutor Correia Mateus 12, right in the historic and commercial center of Leiria, the Fonte Luminosa is the city's most iconic "natural" street spot. This plaza is a masterclass in Portuguese urban architecture, providing a smooth, high-quality environment that has served as the meeting point for generations of local skaters.
The spot is centered around the large ornamental fountain and features a vast expanse of polished stone. It is a technical street paradise where the simplicity of the obstacles allows for maximum creativity.
Bus: The spot is centrally located near the main stops for the Mobilis (Leiria Municipal Transport) network. Almost all city lines pass through or near the "Fonte Luminosa" / "Jardim Luís de Camões" area.
Car: There is underground parking directly beneath the nearby market and several street parking zones along Rua Dr. Correia Mateus and the riverfront.
Walking: Being in the city center, it is within walking distance of the Leiria Castle and the main shopping districts. It’s the perfect central hub to start a session before exploring other spots along the Lis River.
Train: The Leiria Train Station is about 3 km away; a quick bus ride or a 10-minute skate will bring you to the heart of the action.
