Located on Rua Cacheu, adjacent to the Parque Municipal do Serrado in Amora, Seixal, the Amora Skatepark is one of the most significant urban sports investments in the South Bay, Margem Sul. Officially inaugurated on October 4, 2025, this 1,600-square-meter facility was born from a collaborative "Citizenship" project proposed by local students. It was designed to bridge the gap between street culture and professional training, providing a venue capable of hosting national and international competitions. The park features a high-performance smooth concrete base paired with specialized wooden ramps (Skatelite surface). This hybrid construction is favored by many riders for its "pop" and slightly softer impact during falls compared to all-concrete parks.
Train: The Foros de Amora station (Fertagus line) is roughly a 10-15 minute walk or a quick skate away, connecting the park directly to Lisbon and Setúbal.
Bus: Several Carris Metropolitana lines serve the Amora/Seixal area, with stops frequently located near the Parque do Serrado.
Car: Accessible via the A2 motorway (Fogueteiro/Amora exit). There is ample parking available around the Parque do Serrado and the adjacent residential streets.
Walking: Centrally located in Amora, the park is easily accessible from the nearby high school (Escola Secundária de Amora) and the main residential districts.
