Located within the Zona Desportiva de Felgueiras, beside the municipal swimming pools, the Felgueiras Skatepark is a large 1,300 m² facility combining a broad concrete riding surface with a selection of modular ramps and technical obstacles. The layout includes eight main ramps and platforms, with handrails, curbs, corners, hips and several jumping options creating lines for both street and transition riding.
The skatepark was designed by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins)and officially inaugurated on 10 August 2013 as the first phase of a wider Parque Radical project. The facility was developed for skateboarding, BMX and inline skating and was designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced riders. The modular ramps were supplied by Academia dos Patins, with the contemporary project documentation recording a €72,000 investment in the ramp equipment.
The skatepark forms part of Felgueiras' wider sports complex, alongside the municipal swimming pools, athletics facilities and other sporting infrastructure.
