Located at the entrance to Tavira in a green area alongside the River Gilão, the Tavira Skatepark is a medium-sized facility of approximately 800 m². The park combines a variety of street and transition obstacles, including curbs, a manual box, flatbar, central funbox, quarter pipe and incline, providing a compact layout with technical lines for different levels of skating.
The skatepark officially opened on 1 September 2003, making it one of the older dedicated skateparks in the Algarve. The park is illuminated and forms part of the recreational area alongside the river. The parks was renovated by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in September 2023.
