Located within the Parque do Garajau in Caniço, this is a compact concrete pumptrack designed primarily for BMX and wheeled sports, with a smooth layout of rollers and berms. The track is mapped as an official BMX facility and sits immediately beside Jardim do Garajau.
The pumptrack forms part of the wider redevelopment of the Garajau park. The regional government announced the new park in May 2019, describing a 9,700 m² recreational complex with green areas, children's facilities, running and maintenance circuits and areas for BTT. The project involved an investment of around €1 million. The park was developed on the site of a former quarry, transforming an otherwise unused area into a substantial public recreation space. The pumptrack is one of the wheeled-sports elements within this wider complex.
The exact builder and opening date of the pumptrack itself are not clearly documented in the sources I could find.
