Jardins da Graça Skatepark is a small local facility in Machico, Madeira, situated within the Jardins da Graça recreational area, close to the historic Capela da Graça and the centre of Machico. The skatepark is clearly mapped as a dedicated skateboard facility, although publicly available information about its construction is surprisingly limited.
The park is a compact modular setup, providing a simple space for local skateboarders rather than a large destination skatepark. Its position within the gardens makes it part of a wider public recreational area used by the local community.
Interestingly, older documentation confirms that the Jardins da Graça area was already an established part of Machico's urban landscape by at least 2012, although I couldn't find evidence that conclusively dates the skatepark itself to that period.
The exact construction year, builder and original project details remain undocumented online. I would therefore leave those fields as unknown rather than guessing, particularly because Madeira has several older modular skate facilities whose original municipal records are difficult to find.
