Located in Parque das Salinas in Alhos Vedros, this small wheeled-sports facility consists of a single wooden halfpipeset within the former salt-pan landscape of the park. The ramp provides a dedicated space for skateboarding, BMX and inline skating and is one of the simplest skate facilities in the area.
The halfpipe was installed in 2021 by Academia dos Patins, following a commitment from the Municipality of Moita made after discussions with local young people. The municipality specifically described the new facility as a halfpipe for skateboarding, BMX and inline skating, with the possibility of adding further complementary equipment in the future.
Parque das Salinas itself occupies a former salt-production area and contains a variety of leisure and sports facilities. The halfpipe adds a small piece of wheeled-sports infrastructure to this unusual landscape, surrounded by the remnants of Alhos Vedros' traditional salt pans.
