Massamá Skatepark is an approximately 800 m² modular skatepark in Parque Urbano de Massamá, in the northern part of the Sintra municipality. The park has separate areas for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders, with a technical layout featuring manual pads, rails, different types of curbs, a pyramid, spine, quarters with transfers and corners. Its location within a green urban park makes it a popular local spot and one of the main skate facilities in the Sintra area. The skatepark was inaugurated on 12 September 2014 as the Skate Parque do Casal da Barota in Massamá Norte and was built by A|Park, the successor to Academia dos Patins.
After skating, you can explore the green spaces and paths of Parque Urbano de Massamá, or head into nearby Sintra to discover the historic centre and its spectacular palaces.

Park is good enough to have some fun, but lacks maintenance. Also bring a broom, because it's mostly dirty and it's not uncommon to have broken beer bottles from the days before...
