The Mira Sintra Skatepark is the centerpiece of a major urban renewal project within the neighborhood's Urban Park. Situated between Avenida 25 de Abril and Rua Primeiro de Maio, this modern facility was built on the footprint of a formerly disused rink. Representing a significant investment of €954,000—fully funded by the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR)—the park is a key pillar of the "Integrated Local Operation of Sintra," designed to provide world-class sports infrastructure to the community. Spanning 630 m², the park is a high-density "street-flow" plaza. Its construction utilized the PRR funding to ensure premium materials that meet professional standards for skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating.
Train: Located near the Mira Sintra-Meleças station. The short skate from the station to the park makes it a prime destination for the greater Lisbon skate community.
Bus: Served by Carris Metropolitana lines along the neighborhood's main arteries, specifically connecting to Agualva and Cacém..
