Located in Parque da Cidade, beside the Torre do Relógio, Fafe Skatepark is a medium-sized modular facility with a surprisingly complete selection of obstacles. The approximately 450 m² park combines street and transition elements, including a grind funbox with curbs and rail, pyramid, quarterpipe with two hips, inclines, manual pads and ground rails.
The skatepark was designed and built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins). The facility was already established by the time Fafe's current tourist documentation described it as a new sports space created in response to growing demand from young skateboarders. It has since remained an important part of Parque da Cidade, alongside newer facilities such as the BasketArt 3x3 court.
Its varied obstacle selection makes good use of the relatively compact footprint, offering everything from basic transition to more technical grind and manual lines. For a 450 m² park, Fafe packs quite a lot into the space.
