Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Westbank First Nation (WFN) Multi-Use Park, located at 1880 Quail Lane in Westbank, British Columbia, is a premier 12,000-square-foot recreational facility that serves as a vital social and active hub for the community. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks in 2018, situated directly adjacent to the WFN Community Centre and Health and Wellness Centre.
The design is a modern "all-wheel" complex, specifically engineered to provide diverse experiences across multiple disciplines. The facility is anchored by a high-performance concrete skate bowl that meets the technical requirements of seasoned transition riders. Surrounding the bowl is a flowing, asphalt pump track—a standout feature that allows beginners and intermediate riders on bikes, scooters, and skateboards to gain skills and maintain momentum through rhythmic body movements. The park also includes a multi-use sports court for basketball and "pick-up" games, making it one of the most versatile community spaces in the Okanagan.
Reflecting WFN's commitment to culture and environment, the park's architecture respects the local landscape and promotes Syilx culture through integrated design elements. The facility was developed following extensive community consultation starting in 2016, aimed at providing a safe and sanctioned space for local youth to recreate. The layout prioritizes "casual recreation," featuring integrated seating, shade, and clear sightlines that encourage social interaction between different age groups and skill levels.
Constructed with a focus on long-term durability, the concrete bowl features the high-quality finish characteristic of New Line’s specialized crews. The park's opening in August 2018 was a major milestone for the WFN, celebrated with a community grand opening that included professional skate demonstrations. Today, the Westbank Multi-Use Park is recognized as a "celebrated destination" that perfectly complements the nearby civic facilities while fostering a healthy, active lifestyle for the Westbank First Nation.
