Vaterland Park Skatepark is a small urban skate spot in central Oslo, located in the Vaterlandsparken / Grønland areaalong the Akerselva. The spot is also known as Stargate Skatepark, Olafiagangen Skatepark and Olafia Skatepark. Betongpark, who built the skatepark, describes it as a legendary Oslo skate spot and uses the name Stargate after the former Stargate pub that stood on the site. The park has a compact street-oriented setup with ramps, rails and other obstacles, making use of the urban surroundings and providing a local spot for street skating. It sits close to Olafiaplassen and the wider Vaterlandsparken, which includes open green space and other recreational facilities.
