Valença skatepark is a small concrete park with several basic obstacles in a back and forth setup, built in 2025. Located on Avenida Sá Carneiro, within the Complexo Desportivo Municipal, the Valença Skatepark is a key northern outpost for the Portuguese skate scene. Situated just a stone's throw from the Spanish border (Tui), this park serves as a bridge between the Minho and Galician skate communities, offering a clean, modern concrete layout in a high-energy sports hub.
Car: Located right off the A3 (Autoestrada do Entre-Douro-e-Minho) and the N13. There is extensive parking available within the municipal sports complex.
Train: The Valença Train Station (Minho Line) is a major hub connecting Porto to Vigo (Spain). The park is a roughly 10-15 minute skate from the station.
International Access: If you are coming from Tui, Spain, it is a quick trip across the International Bridge, making it a popular "weekend getaway" for Spanish skaters.
