Built by Overlay Projects in 2025, Valença Pumptrack is a modern asphalt circuit located beside the new municipal skatepark in the Cidade Nova / Centro Coordenador de Transportes area of Valença. The circuit combines smooth berms, rollers, jumps and technical sections, creating a flowing layout suitable for BMX, MTB, skateboards, scooters and inline skates.
The pumptrack was developed together with the new Valença Skatepark as a winning proposal from the municipality's Orçamento Participativo Jovem. The wider project received funding through the Plano de Ação de Investimento Territorial do Norte 2030.
Construction formed part of an approximately €135,000 investment in the new urban-sports complex. The completed skatepark and pumptrack opened to the public on 13 September 2025, attracting hundreds of riders from Portugal and Galicia during its opening weekend.
