Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Tuff City Skatepark, located at 375 Campbell Street in Tofino, British Columbia, is an iconic 15,000-square-foot facility that reflects the rugged, artistic spirit of Canada’s surf capital. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks in 2013, replacing an older, deteriorating park with a world-class concrete landscape. Situated on the edge of a temperate rainforest, the park was developed through a massive community effort to provide a high-performance space for the town's legendary local skaters and surfers.
The design is a masterclass in "technical flow," blending high-speed transition terrain with a sophisticated urban plaza. The centerpiece is a massive, multi-level bowl complex that features a "cradle" and a deep-end section with pool-style concrete coping, providing the vertical energy required by advanced riders. This transition zone feeds into a sprawling street plaza that utilizes the site's natural elevation. The plaza is equipped with unique obstacles including granite-capped hubba ledges, a "bump-to-bar" feature, and custom-fabricated steel rails. The layout is engineered for "looping flow," where perimeter quarter pipes and banks allow riders to maintain speed and navigate the technical center in one continuous line.
Constructed with high-strength, smooth-troweled concrete, the park was specifically engineered to withstand the extreme moisture and high rainfall of the Pacific Northwest. The design incorporates beautiful aesthetic touches, such as custom metalwork and landscaping that mirrors the surrounding forest and coastal environment. Because it is located within the Village Green, the facility is a central social hub, offering integrated concrete seating, clear sightlines for spectators, and easy access to the town’s amenities. Today, Tuff City is recognized as one of the most beautiful and well-built skateparks in North America, serving as a pilgrimage site for riders traveling the "Skate the Coast" route on Vancouver Island.
