Skipton Pumptrack is located inside Aireville Park off Gargrave Road and Manville Lane, Skipton, BD23 1UD, United Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Situated in North Yorkshire near the Craven Leisure Centre and Craven College, the facility sits within a major 20-acre public park. The outdoor pumptrack is free to use, un-gated, and accessible to the public 24/7 year-round.
The track is located right next to the concrete Skipton Skatepark within the park's dedicated wheel sports section. Additional surrounding amenities in Aireville Park include an expansive children’s playground, a multi-use games area (MUGA), tennis courts, a pitch-and-putt course, tree-top adventure ropes, and open walking trails along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath. Dedicated vehicle parking is available nearby at the Craven Leisure Centre off Gargrave Road, and the site is easily reached on foot from Skipton railway station and local bus stops.
Designed by specialized trail builders Back on Track, the asphalt pump track officially opened in the summer of 2015/2016 as part of a major community-led effort to revamp the park’s sports space. Funding was secured through Craven District Council in partnership with the Friends of Aireville Park, Craven Youth Council, and environmental grant trusts.
