Calle 771 bis entre Calle 4 y 771, Mar del Plata, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina
Skate Superpark La Colmena is located at Calle 771 bis, between Calle 4 and Calle 771, Mar del Plata, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Situated in the southern coastal zone of Mar del Plata near the Faro Querandí / Playas del Sur corridor, the facility is embedded in a dedicated action-sports complex. As a specialized, privately built facility, access is managed through organized session times and entry fees.
Designed with a heavy focus on deep transition and bowl riding, La Colmena ("The Hive") is famous in the Argentine skating scene for its unique, multi-level concrete bowl system. The park features a smooth concrete flow bowl setup with varying depths, high-vert walls, deep pockets, pool coping, extensions, and connecting spine transitions, making it a primary venue for transition skateboarders and BMX riders.
Set on private green grounds away from the bustling city center, the park complex provides on-site amenities including spectator seating areas, rest zones, a snack bar/kiosk, and restroom facilities. Dedicated vehicle parking is available directly on-site along the access roads. The venue is located within short driving distance of the southern beaches of Mar del Plata (Playas del Sur).
Built as a passion project for the local transition scene, La Colmena stands out as a landmark bowl venue in Mar del Plata—a city historically considered the capital of Argentine skateboarding. It serves as a major host site for national transition competitions, bowl jam events, and pro athlete sessions, attracting top riders from across Argentina and South America.
