Opened in 2017, Sabugal Skatepark is an approximately 800 m² modular skatepark located beside the Centro de BTT in Sabugal. The municipality officially opened the facility on 20 May 2017, creating a dedicated space for skateboarding alongside BMX Freestyle and inline skating.
The park features a varied selection of modular obstacles including a quarter pipe, funbox, incline/flatbank, rails, ground curbs and pyramids, creating a straightforward back-and-forth layout suitable for different levels of riding. The facility was designed to accommodate not only skateboarding but also BMX and inline skating, and the municipality intended it to be suitable for demonstrations and competitions.
The skatepark forms part of a larger wheeled-sports complex that includes the Centro de BTT, a dirt-jumping track and a beginner MTB track, making the site an important action-sports facility for the Sabugal area. Not 100% sure, but I think park was made by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins).
