The Quel Pumptrack is located at Diseminado Quel, 1898, 26570 Quel, La Rioja, Spain. Commissioned by the Ayuntamiento de Quel (Maître d'ouvrage) to promote urban wheel sports, the asphalted track was designed and built in 2021 by PoolSport Soluciones. Overlooking the track and the town is the medieval Castle of Quel, set dramatically on a cliff face. Directly beneath it lies Quel's historic winery district, featuring centuries-old Wine Caves (bodegas en cueva) carved straight into the sandstone.
Passing right near Quel is the Vía Verde del Cidacos, a scenic greenway converted from an old railway line that stretches through the Cidacos River valley. It offers miles of smooth, continuous longboard cruising and cycling between neighboring Riojan towns.
