Situated just off Park Road, the Padiham Skatepark is a purpose-built facility designed to replace an aging metal half-pipe that had served the community since 1992. Burnley Council commissioned Clark & Kent Contractors to deliver a modern, concrete-based wheeled sports area that could cater to the evolving needs of local skateboarders, scooter users, and BMX riders.
The project was a key component of a larger council initiative to revitalize the Park Road recreation area, which includes upgrades to ball courts, tennis courts, and play areas.
To make the best use of the allocated footprint, Clark & Kent proposed a dynamic "W-style" ramp configuration.
