Built by Wasteland Skateparks in 2024, Oiã Skatepark is a modern concrete flow park located within the new Parque Verde de Oiã in Oliveira do Bairro. The park forms the centrepiece of the approximately 10,000 m² leisure area, which opened to the public on 18 January 2025.
Designed by Marcelo Lambiasi, the park moves away from a conventional stop-and-start street layout and focuses on continuous flow. The design incorporates hips, transfers, steel coping and pool coping, creating lines suited to bowl riders, carvers and surf-skate riders while still offering plenty of possibilities for skateboarders.
The skatepark is integrated into a much larger recreational environment, with the Parque Verde also containing a natural amphitheatre, 360º stage, inclusive playground and outdoor fitness equipment. Its position within the new green corridor gives the park a spacious setting and makes it part of Oiã's broader urban regeneration project.
