Installed in 2024 by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins), the Murtal Skatepark is a compact wooden Skatelite mini ramp located at the Jardim do Campo de Jogos do Murtal in Parede, Cascais. The new ramp was installed as part of an initiative by the União das Freguesias de Carcavelos e Parede and Cascais Municipality to provide a dedicated facility for local skateboarders.
The single mini ramp provides a simple transition-focused setup, suitable for beginners learning the fundamentals of ramp skating while offering enough height and transition for more experienced riders to practise airs, grinds and lines.
The ramp's A | Park branding is visible on the structure, confirming the manufacturer/builder. The facility was inaugurated in May 2024, adding skateboarding to the existing sports and recreational facilities at the Murtal playing field.
