The City of Live Oak Texas “The Oaks” Plaza officially opened on August 6, 2016. The City of Live Oak Texas Skate Spot is located in Live Oak City Park a few miles north of San Antonio. Situated near the shade of Live Oak tree canopies, the City’s first skate spot consists of a bi-level plaza style skate path with skate features positioned along the way. Firstly, the upper level includes a manual pad and turn-around wall. And the lower section has a ledge, flat rail and quarter pipe. The elevation difference between the upper and lower levels allowed for a stair set, down rail and bank. The long plaza skate path allows skaters to perform multiple tricks over the course of several hundred feet. The skatepark was built by SPA skateparks.
