The Largo José Saramago spot, located directly in front of the Casa dos Bicos in the historic Alfama/Sé waterfront district, is one of Lisbon’s most aesthetic and frequented "natural" street spots. While officially a public plaza dedicated to the Nobel laureate, its architectural design—defined by clean lines and high-quality stone—has made it a favourite for local skaters.
Metro: It is a 5-minute walk from the Terreiro do Paço station (Blue Line).
Train: The Santa Apolónia train station is less than 10 minutes away on foot, making it very accessible for those coming from outside the city center.
Bus: Multiple Carris lines (including the 728, 735, and 759) stop at "Sul e Sueste" or "Casa dos Bicos," right next to the spot.
Walking: Its central location on the riverfront makes it a natural stop for skaters moving between the Praça do Comércio and the Doca da Marinha spots.
