ABOUT SKATEPARK

Campo das Cebolas spot

Located in the historic heart of Lisbon at Rua da Alfândega 7, the Campo das Cebolas spot is a masterclass in modern urban architecture that has unintentionally become a global street skating landmark. Designed by architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça, this vast open plaza replaced a former parking lot with a high-speed landscape of red-tinted concrete and premium stone, creating one of the most aesthetic and functional street spots in Lisbon. While the plaza is famous for its undulating "Red Banks," the true centerpiece for technical skaters is the perfect long ledge. This massive, continuous granite block offers an exceptionally long grinding surface that is rare to find in a city environment.

Transport & Accessibility

Metro: Terreiro do Paço (Blue Line) is the closest station. Exit and skate 200 meters east along the waterfront.

Bus: The 728, 735, and 759 lines stop directly at the "Campo das Cebolas" station, placing you right on the bricks.

Train: Santa Apolónia Station is a 5-minute skate away, making it a perfect entry point for those arriving from outside central Lisbon.

Car: There is a massive underground parking garage directly beneath the spot. You can park and take the stairs/elevator straight up to the ledge.
