Dinas Powys Skatepark is located at Parc Bryn-y-Don off Cardiff Road in Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 4UF, United Kingdom. Set within the expansive Parc Bryn-y-Don sports grounds, the facility sits between Cardiff and Barry along a major commuter route. The skatepark is an outdoor public site that is free to enter and open year-round during normal park operating hours. Dinas Powys skatepark is made up of a miniramp and several basic obstacles in a back and forth setup.
As part of Parc Bryn-y-Don, the skatepark shares its grounds with extensive community sports facilities, including football and rugby pitches, a pavilion, and open green recreation areas. Dedicated parking is available on-site via the main entrance off Cardiff Road. The site is also well connected to public transit, with local bus stops located along the main road and Eastbrook railway station situated just a short walk away.
Officially opened in April 2007, the skatepark was developed to serve youth in Dinas Powys and the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan area. It was established through local authority initiatives alongside community funding to provide a dedicated, accessible venue for young people practicing wheeled sports. Managed under the Vale of Glamorgan Council's parks department, the park remains a popular outdoor focal point for local riders.
