The Chase Lane Park Skatepark is located at Chase Lane, Chingford, London E4 8RE, United Kingdom (positioned centrally within Chase Lane Park, next to Chase Lane Primary School). Delivered as part of the London Borough of Waltham Forest’s programme to enhance local green spaces, the concrete bowl and skateable landscape were designed and constructed by specialist builder Betongpark in collaboration with East architects.
The facility features a unique concrete bowl elevated above the surrounding ground level, seamlessly blending into the park terrain via grass embankments, stepped edges, and skateable banks. Crafted with distinctive red and sand-coloured concrete pigments, the skate terrain is detailed with CLINKER concrete pool coping blocks, hard-edge detailing, and steel coping.
Integrated directly within the larger park landscape, the skate area sits alongside a multi-use games area (MUGA), updated play areas, and sustainable drainage features with broad paved circulation routes.
