Located at Rua Nova de Alvites 5, in the coastal parish of Canidelo, Vila Nova de Gaia, this spot is a testament to the "build it yourself" spirit of the Porto skate scene. Tucked away in a residential/industrial pocket near the coast, the Canidelo DIY is a modest, skater-built space that offers a raw and authentic alternative to the more polished municipal parks in the region.
Car: Located just off the coast road (Avenida Beira Mar) and the A28. It’s nestled in a quiet street with plenty of space to park along the sidewalk.
Train: The Madalena Train Station (Urbanos do Porto) is roughly a 15-20 minute skate away.
Walking/Skating: If you are staying near the Canidelo or Salgueiros beaches, the DIY is a short trek inland, making it a perfect spot to hit when the sea breeze gets too strong for the boardwalk.
