Aston Fields Skatepark is a compact concrete transition-focused park at Aston Fields in Craigieburn. The layout centres around an open bowl and quarterpipe, with a speedbump adding another line through the park. It sits within the larger Aston Fields recreation reserve, which also includes sports fields, a playground, half basketball court and walking and jogging trails.
The skatepark was designed by Baseplate and constructed by Warrandale Industries. Baseplate's project archive confirms both the design and construction credits. The exact opening year is not clearly documented in the available sources, but the wider Aston Fields development was already established by the late 2010s, so I would leave the year unlisted rather than guess.
After skating, you can explore the nine-hectare Aston Fields reserve and its playgrounds, or head to Craigieburn Central for shopping, cafés and food.
